OK .. found it. Deleted and its re-caching now. Green rectangle has disappeared.

Where is the cache file?  .. on the card or on internal memory? I cannot get to windows desktop on this device and am wary of using Active Sync on it in case I brick it.

However, I can always give it a go. Otherwise I could delete the UK map and reinstall it  .. or wd that still leave the cache there?

I've had this in the past - I ended up with bits of airspace near me displaying using the US Sectional colours regardless of what setting I subsequently changed it to.



Just trash the cache folder on the device, and it will rebuild the maps correctly.

Done some more investigation.

1. Its not a terrain tile. Actually its a dark green rectangle some 8 miles by 5 miles with its NE corner at Boroughbridge.
2. I can just make out terrain shading below the green rectangle.
3. Have reinstalled SD 2.3 beta and have updated UK maps again.
4. Green rectangle still there.
5. Not there on PC version either in normal mode or in GPS mode.
6. Looks like scale is 1:150000 where its visible on Mobile device -- guessing from scale on PC & not sure if they correspond

At one resolution (wd you beleive it the one I use most), there is a terrain tile missing just SW of Dishforth after installing latest beta on mobile device.

I will try re-syncing etc.

Anyone got same problem? It just shows black but with roads, yellow town outlines showing.
